NetHead LLC is the parent organization that has over seventy (70) NetHead related domains; ten of which are active domains within the World Wide Web. NetHeadOnLine.com is the anchor web site for the organization, and has the potential of being one of the top one hundred sites on the Internet. We have all the necessary components as a community to make this ambitious goal a reality. NetHeadOnLine.com has focused on providing quality, family oriented web content to a global Internet society that is in need of a positive identification within the electronic world and who are the core of the ever-exploding Internet business. A NetHead, by definition, are people who enhance their lives through the use of the Internet. NetHeads are people who want to socialize with other NetHeads, their neighbors throughout the world. Anyone, who has a passion for browsing the Net, can associate with the meaning of the term NetHead. You either are one or you are Not! It is that simple. Communities of NetHeads are forming all over the world. The Web revolution is finally starting to gel and the NetHeads of the world are participating and interacting with one another through discussion sites in ways that they couldn’t do before, they are spending their time on sites that combine rich content and communication features, where they can feel welcome and invited to return. In order to gain that audience, we have developed NetHeadOnline.com that offers users an easy to navigate site that delivers the useful information users want that they can personalize with a direct route to the information they want most at every visit. The great NetHead sites also offer a place for visitors to interact with one another on the web. Community web sites are one of the fastest-growing categories of Internet sites, says Media Metrix, Inc., an Internet research firm. NetHead On-Line’s community site was listed number one on Infoseek, numbers one and two on Excite, and number two on Alta Vista in March 1999. As more and more people come on-line, our sites have moved up the traffic charts quite aggressively. NetHeads ARE people of the Internet! NetHeads buy products on the Internet, they browse through other sites such as Yahoo, Excite and AltaVista, NetHeads are the targeted audience of e-commerce. NetHeadOnLine sites offer the opportunity to survey the NetHead audience about their preferences, i.e., do they prefer Coke or Pepsi, Amazon or Barnes and Noble, etc. NetHeads are people who want to socialize with other NetHeads, their neighbors throughout the world and to be identified as a member of the “club” and attain the social recognition that comes with being a member of the Internet society and/or community.

We have over seventy registered NetHead domain names, ten of which are active and 17 are currently child sites, all targeted to the various interests of Internet users, NetHeads. Some analysts say that niche communities, such as the vast global NetHead community, will pull traffic away from other more general Internet sites. Needless to say, we could not agree more with that vision.

For many, using the Internet has become as much of a routine as reading the morning paper, calling Mom or balancing the checkbook. Today, the NetHead sites are becoming a place where people come not only to find information but also to communicate with friends. People want a single convenient resource for their daily needs – news, weather, sports scores, shopping and entertainment in addition they want to identify with other users who share their passion for the Internet. Competition for members, consumers, visitors and advertisers is intense and is expected to increase significantly in the future. Barriers to entry are relatively insubstantial. The NetHead Company believes that the principal competitive factors for companies seeking to create communities on the Internet, are critical mass, functionality, brand recognition, member affinity and loyalty, broad demographic focus and open access for visitors. Some of the other companies, who are primarily focused on creating Web-based communities on the Internet and with whom the NetHead Company competes, are Tripod, Inc., a subsidiary of Lycos, Inc., Geocities now owned by Yahoo, WhoWhere, Inc., and iVillage. However, none of our competitors has the brand recognition for the NetHeads of the global community. The name “NetHead” is clearly recognized as a positive and popular term for a member of the Internet community who posesses a strong passion for the Internet. The brand recognition is instantaneous. Many of the NetHead Company’s existing competitors and potential competitors may have longer operating histories in the Web market, larger customer bases and significantly greater financial, technical and marketing resources than NetHead LLC, regardless they do not have greater name recognition.

Website Demographics

While we have plans to expand into the international market, our initial focus has been in our own back yard – the American Internet user. We know that most of our users are hungry for an economical solution to finding useful information, shopping or interacting with other users via the computer. Currently the Company is in the process of “mirroring” the entire site in Spanish. This is in response to the growing number of Latin American Internet users. Our next venture will be to mirror the site in either German or Japanese. Studies have found that these two markets are the fastest growing in the entire World Wide Web.

The people buying and using the products and services of such Internet giants as Amazon, Yahoo!, GeoCities, iVillage, are potentially NetHeads…..they are waiting to be invited to join and be a part of the global community.
